“Touch and Go" was built by Marine Projects of Plymouth to a David Thomas design in 1989. The GRP hull is built using a composite lay-up and the decks incorporate a non-skid surface, which is stiffened by a balsa core.The construction on the Sigma 38 is exceptionally strong and was built in excess of the requirements required by the ABS Mark II guide.With her fin keel, wheel steering and sloop rig she is an easy boat to sail. Her level of construction and design has resulted in the current reputation of extremely sea-worthy yachts.Fractional sloop rigged. Keel stepped aluminium mast manufactured by Kemp and stainless steel rigging. Twin spreaders to standard Sigma 38 racing specification. .
