Owner's Comments of the 35' Fast Type Motor Boat (FMB

Originally built for the Admiralty, she was first shipped to Ceylon before being used by the C-in-C East Indies in Trincomlee. She returned to the UK in 1952 when she was listed as with the Ships reserve. She then went to Gibraltar briefly in 1955 before returning to Dartmouth for use at the RN Establishment. Refitted in 1965, she was subsequently sold to her first civilian owner in the late 1960's. Her current owner bought her in 1999 and has kept her since on the Norfolk Broads. She is in need of some attention and a survey is recommended to establish the work required to the hull and superstructure
