Pure racing machine from one of the top International rule designers of his time. Built for shipping magnate Claude Allan and originally raced on the Clyde. Some early racing history available and copies of the original drawings by Anker too. A very beautiful Six in stunning condition and ready to race. Dominant 6 race win in winning the 1998 European championship at Cowes. A proven boat and perfectly balanced.
Service history: Fully restored from the keel up by Clare Lallow of Cowes, UK between 1995 and 1997 including new decks; refastening; some new planks; new coamings; new deadwood and part of keel; new mast step and rig bring frames. All new sails, rig and standing and running rigging and deck gear yet hull 80 original. Restoration cost at current prices over ?100k. Vessel unused since '98 and stored under cover. Perfect.
