The Powles 38 was the first of several fast cruisers from Jack Powles International UK to be designed by Bernard Olesinski, nowadays better known for his boats in the current Fairline and Princess ranges. The boat was launched at the 1973 London Boat Show and 40 were built between then and 1979.
This one is the only 38ft without an aft cabin, which makes her unique. Outside there is a generous amount of deck space and from the cockpit where steps lead up to the fly bridge you will find a big bench seat which can take 7 people quite comfortably incl. the pilot seat. All new teak decks and teak in cockpit. Lord Sinclair has a bow thruster, generator and is powered by two new diesels of 305 hp giving a top speed of about 20 knots.
The hull and superstructure have been professionally sprayed with “ AWLGRIP “ paint system in 2006, included new antifouling. She has been entirely refitted from 2002 to 2007, includes new tanks, batteries, exhaust system, propellers, navigation equipment, anchor winch, life raft, Besenzoni, upholstery, dinghy, outboard, etc. The owner has invested over 100.000€. Must be seen!!!!
