Watermaker Dessalator solo 60lt/hr 2006
The anchor windless is a Lewmar Ocean 2 electric anchor windless with a vertical rope drum that can be operated from a remote switch at the helm or via a hand held unit in the chain locker.
There is a 30kg stainless steel Bruce anchor with 60m of 10mm calibrated chain.

4 pairs of stainless steel mooring cleats (1 pair forward, 1 pair aft and 2 pairs amidships) each mooring cleat is fitted with a stainless anti chaff strip.
A stainless steel pushpit has been fitted with two two-man teak bench seats. The pushpit also has integral dinghy davits.

Mainsail halyard winch has been upgraded to a Lewmar 48 CEST electric 2-speed winch.
The aft swim deck has been fitted with a hot and cold deck shower. The deck, swim platform and cockpit are all laid with 12mm teak.

Rigging & Winches equipped on this Farr 50 Pilot House - The rig is a three spreader rig by Selden with Frederickson roller cars on the mainsail track.
The mast, boom and spinnaker pole have all been polyester powder coated.
The rigging is stainless steel wire.
The genoa is a line operated Selden Furlex model.
The furling line has been fitted with a jammer on the teak capping rail.
The boom has been fitted with a permanent preventer line, which is lead aft to the cockpit.

Four cabin layout with a 7/8 berths. The interior has been fitted out in mahogany with a cream vinyl headlining with mahogany accent strips and flush fitting halogen down lighters. The cabin sole is from attractive teak and holly. There are three heads compartments which have a white easy maintenance finish with blue colour Corian worktops.
The aft cabin has a centreline double positioned underneath the cockpit. This unique arrangement opens up the aft part of the cabin and allows very good access to the generous stowage in this area. There is a bench seat to starboard and a vanity unit with stool to port.
Access to the ensuite head is on the starboard side which incorporates a manual flush toilet, washbasin and shower area.
The walkthrough galley is between the saloon and the aft cabin positioned in an ideal place for use at sea. It is fitted with a fridge, top loading freezer, force 10 cooker, microwave and an abundance of stowage space.
The saloon seating area is to starboard and is raised so that you have a very good panoramic view when seated at the table. Access to the engine is through a hatch in the saloon floor which is hinged and is on two hydraulic rams. Access to the cockpit is via three safe steps in the aft part of the saloon.
The navigation area is to port and supports an outboard facing chart area with navigation instruments fitted easily to hand. It has a seat which raises and lowers for either looking out of the windows when navigating or working at the chart table.
Forward there is a day head to port, which also has a shower, and the first of three cabins to starboard. This hosts a double bed and has a hanging locker and stowage.
Further forward there is a cabin to port with twin upper (pipecot) and lower berths and a double cabin to starboard. Both these cabins have good stowage areas with hanging lockers.
With access through both cabins there is a forward head area which has a washbasin, toilet and a hot and cold shower.
Interior
The interior has been fitted out with a mahogany finish in all cabins.
The heads and showers are finished with a white easy maintenance finish, Corian worktops with stainless steel insert basin and GRP shower bases with decorative Corian panels.
The headlining throughout is a cream vinyl with mahogany accent strips and flush fitting halogen down lighters.
The sole is an attractive teak and holly finish, which has been protected by, removable fitted carpets from new.
The galley has a Corian work top with twin stainless steel insert sinks. There are 2 chest fridges with access from the worksurface and a freezer under the forward end of the saloon seating.
The galley has also been fitted with a stainless steel flush mounted microwave that can used when plugged into shore power or from the inverter.
The saloon table has been customized to allow the central section to be removed, reducing the size of the table to a coffee table size and therefore improving access to the pilothouse seating.
Both the forward and midships cabins have been fitted with de-mountable pipecots to provide additional berths.
The owners cabin double berth has been fitted with a split mattress and three lee cloths
