The Montevideo 43 center cockpit with teak decks has been built by the John Robertson Yachts in South Africa. The rig has been designed by Angelo Lavranos. It seems to be that about 50 Mondevideos were build until 1994. After that time the same hull design was continued in the Montecarlo 43. This one from 1988 and powered by a new 55HP Yanmar is a well equipped yacht designed for serious blue water cruising. Sleeps 6 in 2 cabins. Her impressive inventory includes bow thruster, generator, battery charger, Autohelm 7000, radar, GPS, SSB, Navtex etc. All sails in good condition incl. new furling genoa. Full safety equipment incl. liferaft, EPIRB etc. She has contemporary lines with pleasing proportions and her 15 tons displacement and balanced rig makes her easy to handle. VAT paid and RCD compliant she is in good condition and priced to sell. May 2009 new antifouling.
