The Aerodyne 47 offers a two stateroom, two head layout with a very roomy main saloon. Six and more for dinner is comfortable and the cook would serve from a galley fit for a gourmet. The Rubbed finish cherry joinery is nicely offset and illuminated by the off white overhead.
This arrangement is exceptionally open and offers luxury and privacy for two couples in private cabins.
The Owner's Cabin is forward with its own private head and separate shower. The queen sized berth, private vanity and generous storage defines luxury.
Aft of the owner's cabin is the main saloon withlarge dinette to port and settee to starboard. Aft of the settee is an efficient and well appointed nav station. Opposite the settee and further aft on the port side is a large galley with separate refrigeration and freezing
Aft of the nav station to starboard is the main head and shower with connecting door to the guest cabin. The guest cabin has a queen sized berth and ample storage.
Aft of the galley and to center is a pantry locker, full height. Aft is entry to a workspace and access to some of the ship's systems.
Owner's Stateroom
The Owner’s Stateroom is forward and has its own private head with separate shower stall.
The living space is open and well lit with generous amounts of storage including hanging lockers, and drawer space.
The stateroom has its own vanity sink with mirror above and storage below.
The queen sized berth is offset to port and is well illuminated with portlights and an overhead hatch.
The head and shower have a separate hatch above for good ventilation.
Main Saloon/Nav Station
The Saloon is remarkably spacious with a large dinette to port and a settee opposite to starboard. With this kind of space the crowd can come below. Seating is well crafted leather and everyone can reach the table. This space communicates with the galley so well that the cook will feel a part of the party.
The full sized nav station/desk is aft of the settee, with swivel out seat facing outboard at the instruments with the full electrical to the right and aft
The Galley is large, u-shaped and full of features, located to port and aft of the saloon. On centerline is a counter with high fiddles that contains a double sink, ample counter space fore and aft of it.
More counter space is athwartship and to port with storage, trash and recycling bin below. Outboard and to port are refrigeration and freezing, opening to the top. Refrigeration also opens with front access.
Overhead doors to storage run aft to the Microwave oven. Below it is the three burner Force 10 stove with oven and broiler
Main Head/ guest Cabin
On the starboard side opposite the galley is the main head and shower, well appointed and spacious.Entrance is from the saloon and from the guest cabin by inside door.
Aft of the head is the guest stateroom with a huge double berth. Ventilation is by hatches into the cockpit footwell and with a port in the hull and in the house-side. Hanging lockers and a bureau outboard are augmented by storage drawers under the berth and under the companionway, inboard.
Deck
The deck layout is designed for single handed or short handed sailing for extended cruising. The double anchor rollers are staggered to accommodate two proper size anchors and ground tackle, two large forward lazarettes port and starboard for anchors, dock lines, fenders, etc. The side decks are wide and easy to move fore and aft. A hard dodger supplies protection from the weather and protection for instruments with a center opening window for ventilation. The cockpit and helm station has easy access to all sail handling hardware.
