Sonny Levi designed and built 40 Foot Twin Screw Diesel, totally built in teak wood. The Sonny Levi 40' “Camelot” was originally built in Bombay in 1956 in the yard owned by Sonny Levi. The hull was entirely made of double plank teak, and so was the deck. Starting in the year 2000, and using the basic hull and deck in excellent condition, the Sonny Levi 40' Camelot was refitted as a cruiser. The refit work was done by Maris shipyard of Fiumicino, Rome, Italy.

Starting in the year 2000, and using the basic hull and deck in excellent conditions, the Camelot was redone in the over structure to be more of a long range cruiser than a fisherman. The work was done by Maris shipyard of Fiumicino (Rome, Italy). Following the carpentry work, I began the completion job of totally empty boat, by installing brand new items which took several years, in keeping with my time and budget.
