2007 J 80 ' Jumping Gizmo' [ ex Mad Cow ] in excellent condition . Raced seroiusly in Spi Ouest in 2007 [5th in Europeans] for one regatta therefter present owner has only used this yacht for family days out, so consequently she shows little sign of wear and tear
The hull has been finished in a thin silver plastic laminate by 'Grapefruit Graphics' and looks stunning , however racing oficionados may wish to remove this and return her to the white immaculate gell finish of the std boat . This is easily done , with the benefit that the gell is as new beneath the protective laminate.
The yacht has a 4hp Mariner , profiled keel, full Tactic instrumentation with wind , speed , depth and mast mounted 20/20 's plus autohelm . Sails by Hyde c'w with braked trailor, lights and tie downs, huge saving on new boat and ready to tow away or ship straight to Key West !

She was delivered to the first owner in February 2007 and named "Mad Cow", entered one regatta (Spi Ouest) where she came 6th overall out of 80 boats.
She was purchased to do that regatta, the Nationals and the Worlds, but one of his crew was unable to compete due to family health reasons, and put boat on the market.
I purchased her in June 2007.
She entered two days of Abersoch Keelboat week in 2007, and has done no other racing.
She was sailed 11 times in 2007, 4 times in 2008 and never in 2009.
Sails are all Hyde class sails, new for Spi Ouest. The jib and main have been used 20 times and the kite has been used 9 times
Her (white) asymmetric spinnaker has been used 4 times by me, and not been out of the bag since 2007.
The Kevlar jib (dark grey) has had a UV strip attached by JKA Sails of Pwllheli, so that the sail could be left furled over night.
The main has had extra reefing lines fitted, which may detract from keen racer but makes good cruising sail.
She is very colour co-ordinated with everything either black or white to compliment the grey vinyl hull.
The trailer, which was new to me, has only been used to transport her from the Hamble to Pwllheli and has never been in the water. (boat was craned in and out of water).
