Short Description of the Moody Carbineer 52

The second owner purchased in 1987 this Moody Carbineer 52 ketch cruising yacht with 3 cabins. Powered by twin completely rebuilt in 2010 Perkins engines of 73hp with bow thruster. With re-caulked teak decks, new air-conditioning, water maker, generator, inverter, holding tank etc. Furling electric head sails, Furling electric main and Furling mizzen with an total of 6 sails. Full (double) navigation and safety equipment for circumnavigation. Heavily professionally upgraded during more than 10 years, including an osmosis treatment. Since 2002 sailed all over the Med during summers and has been maintained thoroughly and again intensively upgraded during winters by her passionate owner. A must see as she is re-built and in very good condition. Therefore ready to go for an ARC transatlantic rally.
