We bought “Laros” for the ARC 2005. She performed beautifully across the Atlantic, coming 4th out of 250+ boats on handicap and 2nd in class, and that was without flying a spinnaker or cruising chute! She is a stable and comfortable boat to sail and live aboard. Our family enjoyed several seasons exploring the Caribbean before shipping her home to enjoy cruising Brittany and Cornwall. The huge freezer and fridge, seawater cooled for efficiency, were tremendous for storing fresh dorado or for keeping ice cream as a tropical treat. The watermaker provides the luxury of unrestricted fresh showers even when on passage, or anchored off remote islands. Now, with a growing number of grandchildren, we are moving up to a larger boat for Mediterranean exploration en famille.
