Two teak storage boxes fixed to rear deck. Stainless steel gantry, which carries 3 x 64watt Australian solar panels with 3 10amp circuit breakers. Sterling digital meter & smart regulator. New switch panel. Link 10 USA meter (monitors volts/amps/amp hours to run at present consumption). Two alternators plus spare. 80amp switch mode Sterling charger 3DC outs, 3 x 80 breakers. 240v ring main, rotary change over between shore/generator power. Flowjet USA water pump supplying galley/two bathrooms Two fridge units feeding one top loader – air-cooled to evaporator, water-cooled to holding plate. Calorifier in engine room heated by engine or immersion.

7 Sails: 2 main, 1 heavy duty Hood, 1 Tab – a lighter sail. Tab extrusion fitted to mast 1990. Hood Genoa, storm jib, 2 cruising chutes, 1 spinnaker.
8 winches cockpit. 4 winches mast.
Sleeping accommodation: Aft owners cabin: Central double bed, settee, two wardrobes, built in cupboards. En suite heads with shower, washbasin, marine WC. Hanging locker. Doors to the chart area and aft cabin. Forward guest cabins, one to port, one to starboard, each with upper and lower berths at ship’s sides, hanging locker, cupboard. Reading lights over each bunk. Forward heads with marine WC, washbasin, shower, storage locker. Doors to forepeak, chain locker and forward cabins. Single bunk on port side, above/behind settee.
Living accommodation: A well proportioned and comfortable saloon features a ‘U’ shaped settee to starboard with smaller ‘U’ shaped settee opposite, bookcase/lockers fitted to ship’s sides. Dining table is centrally mounted with large foldout leaves. Chart area to port with navigators seat and chart table. Wooden box under steps to cockpit with storage. Large centre cockpit with all-round seating and wheel.
Galley: Large ‘L’ shaped galley to starboard, stainless steel USA gimballed cooker with large oven, 3 burners and grill. Twin stainless steel sinks, hot and cold water, refrigerator. Only two owners from new, she has been properly maintained and is an excellent example of this classic design.
Service history: Wild Mood had her hull epoxied when the current owner bought her from the first owner. He rubs her hull down each year and has applied extra epoxy a couple of times to obtain a smoother finish, also using self-polishing antifoul.All hull fittings are serviced annually – 6 taper valves for 2 toilets plus cockpit drain. All are stripped, lapped in grease and re-assembled. Likewise water intakes for engine/generator.Thornycroft engine fitted in 1990, which the owner obtained from Moodys with only 20 hours on the clock. It was actually fitted in the Moody 47 built after as the purchaser wanted a different engine. It had a Hurth gearbox, but the owner fitted a hydraulic PRM a few years back, together with RD flexible coupling to new s/s shaft. Deep sea seal, new cutlass bearing. 3-blade Brunton self-pitching propeller.
