DECK & SUPERSTRUCTURE: The GRP deck is sheathed with teak planking. Solar panel. Substantial Companionway Hatch leading to cabin areas. Alloy toe-rail. Two escape hatches. Good sized anchor locker and gas installation is located on the foredeck.
GROUND TACKLE: A 25lb CQR anchor is stowed on the bow roller with chain fed through a hawse pipe into the chain locker. Both anchor and chain are in good condition. DECK FITTINGS: Substantial Bow Fitting with facility for twin rollers, if required and a Starboard Roller. Two 13 inch alloy mooring cleats are installed on the foredeck and two aft. Two 8 inch alloy fairleads are installed on the foredeck. The pulpit is constructed of quality stainless steel. Two timber grabrails are located on coachroof. A 3-rung boarding ladder is installed on the transom. A fully serviced gas inflated 4-man liferaft is located on the stern and is securely fastened complete with lock.
COCKPIT: The Cockpit Area is self-draining and offers a good, all-round view and contains the Steering Pedestal. A sprayhood is located in the interior cabin. There is a large, deep transom locker giving access to the shore-power hook-up. The locker offers plenty of storage space and can be locked via a secure latch. A manual bilge pump is installed and operated from the cockpit as is the on/off switch for the electric bilge pump.The engine instrument panel is located on the port side of the cockpit area. Navigational equipment installed in the cockpit are 'Furono' GPS Navigator (GPS-31) / Clipper Depth, Log and Wind Instruments / Clipper Heel Indicator.
BILGES & BULKHEADS: Bulkheads are bonded in to stiffen the hull and deck structure. Bulkhead fastenings are in good condition. The bilges are clean and serviceable. A gas sensor is installed on the vessel.
SPARS & RIGGING: Sloop rig with roller furling headsail. Anodised aluminium mast with spreaders. The mast is deckstepped with an alloy compression post. Boom, gooseneck, kicking-strap fittings and boom-end sheaves. Two spinnaker poles are stored on the side decks. Shrouds, spreaders and turnbuckles (with toggle fittings). Standing rigging is good quality stainless steel. Running Rigging. Shroud deck fittings. Beckstay and chain-plate. 'Furlex' Headsail gear. Two twin-speed 'Lewmar 30' halyard winches are installed on the coach-roof. Two 'Barbarossa 44' Primary and two 'Barbarossa 30; secondary winches, all self-tailing. Mainsheet track and traveller installation.
SAILS: Mainsail / Roller Foresail / No. 1 Jib / No. 2 Jib / No. 3 Jib / Storm Jib / Cruising Chute.
RUDDER / STEERING ASSEMBLY: The rudder blade is secured to a shaft turned by a radial drive mounted on the rudderhead. An open cable system is used to turn the radial device. Steering cables and sheaves are in good condition and well greased.
PROPELLOR & SHAFT: Bronze, 3-blade 'Radice OTK11R' Propeller installed on the Shaft which is supported by a P-Bracket.
ENGINE: Auxillary propulsion is via a Perkins 103-10, fresh water-cooled 29HP Diesel Engine. The engine hour meter which is located on the instrument panel in the cockpit indicates there are approximately 6 hours on the engine. The engine is in a good clean condition. The engine is ventilated via moulded ducting which is fed via a 'Jabsco' CFM Electric Air-Blower located in the transom locker. The stern gland creates a seal between the shaft and hull. The exhaust system is in good condition. The 8 gallon, stainless steel diesel fuel tank is located beneath the portside saloon berth and is filled via the fuel fill on the port side-deck. The fuel tank is in good condition. The fuel shut-off is easily accessible and the tank is vented to atmosphere.
CABIN INTERIOR: The cabin is spacious, light and well ventilated. The upholstery, carpets and linings are in good clean condition. The cabin areas benefit from warm-air heading supplied by an 'Eberspacher' Unit located in the aft cabin lockers. Warm air is piped around the vessel through duct piping and exiting through outlets in each cabin. Access to the bilges is obtained by lifting planels in the cabin sole.
ACCOMMODATION: 6 berths in 3 cabins, saloon with large table for 8-10 persons. The table tips on end to allow good all-round access to the engine installation. Stowage space is found in the table middle and end sections and there are plenty of cupboards and shelves through the cabins. Aft cabin to port, aft of galley, standard berth is extra wide (virtually a double bed). Between the two berths is a small bureau. Forepeak two berths with stowage and shelves.
GALLEY: The galley area to port comprises two burner'Plastimo Atlantic' gas cooker, ice-box/cool-box and single stainless steel sink-unit electrically pumped fresh water and with sea-water foot-pump. Working surface and ample storage space is available in the galley area for pots/cutlery, etc.
HEADS: A 'Brydon' sea-toilet with 'Raske & meyde' hand pump, shower and wash-basin.
FRESH WATER SYSTEM: A 16 gallon freshwater tank is located beneath the berths in the forward cabin. The tank is filled via the water fill on the foredeck. The tank supplies the galley and heads sink unit freshwater feeds via an electric pump. The pump is located beneath the starboard bether.
NAVIGATION STATION: Good sized navigation station with hinged top and chart stowage is located to starboard and offers ample working room for chart-work, etc. and contains plenty of storage drawers. The station houses the switch/fuse panel and the following instruments: JRC Radar 1000 / ICOM VHF IC M51EURO / ICOM DSC Controller / Kenwood CD/Radio Player / XM20000 Handheld VHR / Magellan GPS320 / Plastimo Gasniffer Unit.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: The battery banks are located beneath the saloon seating with a single cranking battery to port and a pair of house batteries to starboard. The batteries are charged by the engines alternator. The battery feed is isolated using the battery isolator key located below the navigation station. The feed then continues to the switch/fuse panel. There is one 240 volt AC shore-power hook-up installed, which is in good condition and located in the transom locker. There are multiple AC outlets throughout the cabin areas. Trip-switches for the 240V supply are located in the heads storage cupbard. A small solar panel is installed on the coachroof.
SAFETY EQUIPMENT: A fully serviced gas inflated 4-man liferaft is located on the stern and is securely fastened complete with lock. An XM260 Dinghy is stored on the vessel with puncture repair kit, inflator pump and two sets of oars. 3 dry powder Fire Extinguishers / 1 Halon Fire Extinguisher / 1 Fire Blanket / 2 Horseshoe Life Preservers / 1 Danbuoy / 1 Alloy Motoring Cone / 1 Plastic Motoring Cone / 1 Plastic Anchoring Ball.
