A true sailor's boat; beautiful lines, flush deck, points high (will tack through 50 degrees); ideal short-handed (self-tacking jib); retains full sail through 20 knots wind; basic accomodation narrow beam and not standing headroom below, but otherwise much boat for the money. This is the second 101 I have owned and refit was carried out to reflect this experience.
Service history: Thorough refit 2000; hull epoxied and topsides re-painted; complete new engine installation including shaft and new prop and P-bracket; stringers re-bonded; inner forestay installed; cockpit teak replaced; additional teak on side decks (partial) with mini bulkhead for water diversion; new batteries & isolator switch; new cockpit sole; re-designed backstay; new halyard winches. 20000 sold.
