Built and designed originally for Francis Prout, SSR registered. A well equipped example of these very popular cruising boats. She was sailed to Lagos, Portugal and has been moored there since 2000 with only weekend sailing and yearly 3 week cruises along the Portuguese coast..
Service history: She was laid-up using woven rovings and CSM making her lighter and stronger than other boats of her time. Her interior was individually designed to include several useful features over and above the standard specification. In 1996 the engine, mast, rigging, instruments and wiring were replaced. In 1998 a number of features were added to make cruising more comfortable and (in preparation of prolonged time in the water) the hull was sanded back, dried out and Gelshield 200 as well as epoxy and resin applied.In 2003 the lining in main saloon was replaced and new cushion covers also fitted.
