This centreboard Hood 38, built in GRP by Wauquiez in France, is well equipped and well maintained. She was launched in 1986 and was only lightly used in fresh water until 1997. Her Perkins 4108 (47 h.p.) diesel has only done 1,600 hours. She had significant up-grades between 1998 and 2000 - new radar, SSB, GPS, Navtex, rigging, mainsail, dinghy and outboard, osmosis barrier coat and more. With her watermaker and water/wind generator this boat is truly blue water equipped. This much loved yacht is seriously for sale. .
