This yacht was built for Baron Bic of “Bic pen” fame and the current owners who have owned her for 23 years have maintained her close to the original specification to a very high standard. She is one of five built to this design and a sistership to the famous “Kriter” which won two legs of five in the first Whitbread. She has exceptionally high headroom throughout and her beautiful wood panelled interior with oval doorways and laminated beams make her a most desirable yacht.This really is a unique and very special yacht, sadly but seriously for sale due to the health of the owner. She has never been chartered but only lightly used here in the Mediterranean, although obviously capable of a lot more. Viewing recommended. .
Service history: During 2002/2003 this yacht has been the subject of considerable expense and as a result she now has a hull survey issued by a British surveyor who oversaw the work. The plumbing was renewed throughout and all new seacocks and valves were fitted. All diesel and water tanks were removed, cleaned and painted. The topsides, coachroof and cockpit were painted. She was re-launched at the end of September 2003. A copy of this hull survey is available. .
