Owner's Comments of the Tayana 55

Designed by Peter Beeldsnijder and built by the Ta Yang Yacht Company in 1988. The Tayana 55 is without doubt a beautiful blue water cruising yacht. With her generous cutter rig and electric furling main and genoa she combines speed with extraordinary ease of handling, even for two people. She is equally comfortable with six onboard in her three double cabins, and her good sized cockpit is just perfect for enjoying those sundowners. Extremely well equipped with a 120HP Perkins, Westerbeke 8KW generator, reverse cycle aircon/heating, HRO watermaker, radar, SSB, ham radio, forward looking depth sounder, liferaft, EPIRB, 3.4m RIB & two outboards etc. She has always been well maintained and is reluctantly for sale due to health reasons. Come and view - you too can sail away in style. .
