Longbow III has been one of the most successfully campaigned yachts in the Sigma 38 one design class, with numerous wins to her name since 1995. Under her previous owners and since her purchase by the Army Sailing Association in 1995 she has been maintained to a high standard. Longbow has been optimised for class and offshore racing, this includes fairing the keel and hull, however she is still well suited for cruising as well as racing. The equipment inventory is considerable, as well as recent improvements to deck gear she has also had a complete new set of cushions down below. Currently in excellent condition, she is ready for a new owner to race or cruise in 2001.
