Sina is a 53' yawl of traditional carvel construction, built of long-lived and durable materials and launched in 1994. Sina's essential dimensions, type and aesthetics were determined over the winter of 1978/79 whilst her owner-builders were wintering in the UK during the course of a 80,000 miles circumnavigation on a previous vessel (Masina). Colin Mudie's vast experience and expertise as a practical boatbuilder, designer and yachtsman, in collusion with the owner/builders wide experience in building and sailing wooden vessels has resulted in a sailing vessel that today may be difficult to replicate.
