Bavaria Yacht 40 Cruiser
The latest Cruiser-series boat from Bavaria Yachts is a sailor’s dream. Closer in length overall to 41 feet, the 40 Cruiser features twin wheels and large, easily accessible cockpit lockers. This 40 Cruiser is the flagship for a new generation of mid-size sailboats.
Below deck, larger forward and aft cabins, a newly-designed navigation station and improved ventilation (there are 18 opening ports and hatches) provide as comfortable of a setting as above deck. High quality varnished woodwork, light-colored upholstery and four fixed hull ports add to the illuminated atmosphere. Thanks to Bavaria, the term mid-size boat takes on a whole new meaning.
The newly designed galley includes a microwave, gimbaled two-burner stove with oven, double stainless-steel sink, icebox with 12V refrigeration unit and plenty of storage space for cookware and dishes. All three cabins have large double berths, opening ports and hatches for enhanced natural light and ventilation, and abundant closet, drawer and shelf space. The 40 Cruiser is loaded with additional stowage space, from the under berth drawers, closets and enclosed shelf lockers to the chart table seat and island settee. Increased interior volume allows for generous seating and storage space in the salon, and is easily accessible from the galley and navigation station. Each head features easy-care surfaces, mahogany accents and is equipped with a manual toilet and a partitioned shower stall with sump pump. The airy below-deck ambiance is brighter with better cross ventilation and multiple opening and fixed ports and hatches to help illuminate the atmosphere.
