Jeanneau Information

 Jeanneau Yachts first began in 1957 when Henry Jeanneau, already a car and aircraft fanatic, saw a motorboat pass him by. Soon afterwards he began building a hull and competed in and obtained line honors in his first race. In 1959 he hired his first staff and the first powerboats made their debut in 1961.

Jeanneau launched its first sailing boats in 1964, the same year of the first French win of the OSTAR single handed race. In 1970 Jeanneau's sales took off with the Sangria, selling 2,700 boats. Since then Jeanneau has been maintaining its production and popularity throughout the world.
