A folding sprayhood sits above the companionway where a second bank of instruments is also located. Two winches (one electric and one manual) and the reefing pennant clutches sit under the sprayhood, providing shelter from the elements when controlling the main sail.
The fuel capacity has been increased to 570 litres (one tank at 390 litres and a second at 180 litres).

Rigging & Winches equipped on this Wauquiez Pilot Saloon 43 - Sparcraft mast fitted with a Harken track for quick deployment and recovery of the fully battened 3-reef mainsail. A manual winch is also mounted on the mast for the halyards. The mast has been fitted with two pairs of mast steps to aid working at height.
All standing rigging was renewed in May 2014, and most running rigging has been replaced.
One large electric 54ST Lewmar winch and a small manual winch are mounted on the starboard side and one large electric 54ST Lewmar winch is mounted on the port side.
On the bow there is a 30 Kg stainless steel Buegel anchor sitting in a double bow roller with 80 metres of 10mm stainless steel chain. A Lewmar windlass provides the necessary control to raise and lower it.

Khaleesi has a white hull with teak foredeck, running decks, and cockpit. The coach roof is in white GRP and has a total of six windows that wrap around to provide a light and airy interior. The windows come with UV covers. The reverse transom is fitted with a fold down diving / access platform. When raised it provides a deep safe cockpit in which the single helm station is fitted with a large wheel and a single four instrument pod sitting atop the binnacle, which is also fitted with a Suunto steering compass. A custom built stainless steel arch is fitted (2016) and accommodates the large 190w solar panel, the 6 man ISO Zodiac life raft, a number of antennas including a wifi extender, a Silent Wind wind turbine (2017) and davit points for a dinghy. A foldaway bimini is attached to the arch. A teak cockpit table attaches to the binnacle, and there are two large lockers either side of the helm station. One of these gives access to the steering quadrant / gear and auto pilot, and is where the spare sails are stowed, together with a second (Fortress) anchor and the passarelle.
Her interior is in very good condition, finished in a light maple veneer, with a raised dining area giving you a 360 degree view whilst you dine. She has 3+ berths for a total of seven crew.
The aft master cabin has a large double island bed that is fitted with lee cloths, has an en-suite manual toilet, wash basin and a separate shower room.
The forward double V berth is spacious with lots of storage space, and gives access to the Bowthruster motor and battery. It shares the forward heads, which has an electric toilet, with the single berth on the starboard side. This single berth room also accommodates the 220v washing machine.
The central area has the galley on the port side which has good eye level storage areas for kitchen equipment, double sink, a gimballed Eno 2-burner cooker and oven, a deep top-loading freezer and a large front opening refrigerator. A Seagull IV water filter has been fitted.
There is a full size chart table and nav station on the port side. This is equipped with a Raymarine A125 touch screen chartplotter with integrated radar and AIS, (all updated in 2016 / 2017) and hybrid manual controls. It has ST60 speed, course, wind etc displays and a Raymarine Evolution auto pilot (2017). There is also an iCom 802 Long Range Radio (SSB) and Pactor Modem v4 (installed 2017), a Navicom VHF (DSC) radio with remote handset, Furuno Navtex, and a standard medium wave commercial radio / CD player, as well as a Link 10 battery monitoring control. The main switch board is above the chart table seat.
Opposite the nav station is a wet locker which has been fitted with a bracket to hold a dive tank/cylinder. A 12v smart TV is mounted in the main cabin for leisure viewing, and comes with an active antenna that can be tuned to local stations.
The dining area is to starboard, where the folding dining table has been converted allowing it to be used as a double berth, giving a total of 7 berths. Two additional stools have been fitted to provide seating for eight people. The seat cushions are covered in a durable but luxurious blue alcantara material. Behind the cushions is an array of storage areas that are fitted with lee cloths for security of the contents.
Access to the engine room is through a door on the starboard side or through a floor hatch which is raised by lifting the companionway steps. Within the engine room you will find the main engine, a Yanmar 4JH3TE 75HP fitted with a smart regulator on the alternator, Fischer Panda 4.5KvA generator, Village Marine watermaker (new membranes 2017), domestic battery bank (3 x 140 AHr AGM-new Sep 2017), Engine battery - 100AHr, Generator battery - 100AHr, 2 x Sterling 40 Amp battery chargers (new 2017) and a third 20 Amp Voltmaster charger (new 2017) for the bow-thruster. The standard array of bronze sea cocks (all new 2016), fuel filters, fuel tank, holding tank and water tank can all be found in this area.
