Maxi 1200 'Pick of the crop' in Yachting World review
The Maxi 1200 is a clear favourite with Yachting World and features strongly in the 'Pick of the crop' article in April 2016 issue.
Written by Toby Hodges, a highly respected yachting journalist, the Maxi 1200 is described as a 'Gentleman's cruiser, a joy to sail and ideally suited to short handed sailing'. He opens the report by saying how impressed he was with the family owned Delphia Yard, how they built a prototype before going to production, then listened and incorporated improvements recommended by yachting journalists to the Maxi 1200 once it went in to production.
This attention to detail is completely evident with 'Baldur', our Maxi 1200 demonstrator. At her UK launch at the Southampton International Boat Show she was received with enthusiasm by members of the UK Maxi Owners Association. She is proving to be real winner with a number of customers close to confirming orders.
The Distributor, Regatta Yachts Ltd, is based in Port Hamble and 'Baldur' is moored alongside close to the office.
