Mike Golding's new 'Ecover 3' in the UK
Mike Golding's new Open 60' 'Ecover 3' is lying at Ocean Village, Southampton, UK while he prepares her for new adventures. I have followed Mike's progress from skipper with the 'Challenge Business' to one of our foremost offshore yachtsmen. I was involved with his first single handed Round the World project as a supplier and can understand why he has succeeded in one of the toughest businesses to achieve recognition.
Unfortunately I missed seeing him yesterday as I was meeting a client at the time, Mike had gone by the time I got back to where he was rigging the mast. However, I am sure all of us will wish him and his new yacht well in future challenges. Simon Walworth 4.9.07
