"True Love" is a Malabar VII schooner that was totally rebuilt in 2003. She was originally built by Pendleton Brothers Shipyard of Wiscasset, Maine in 1926. Her rebuild was done by Midnight Marine Resources in Newport, RI.
"True Love" holds a COI for 23 day passengers and one captain and one crew.
The vessel is familiar to many as she starred in the 1955 film, "High Society" with Bing Crosby and Grace Kelly. Her owner is ready for an immediate sale and has reduced the price accordingly.

Rigging & Winches equipped on this 54' John Alden Schooner Malabar VII schooner - The schooner rigged vessel is fitted with spars of Douglas fir and is stepped in the bilge. Masts are supported by bronze chain plates, Merriman style bronze turnbuckles and toggles, SS 1x19 wire. Sail tracks are mounted on the side decks. Staysail traveller is mounted on the deck forward of the foremast.
The vessel is fitted with a roller furling headsail at the tip of the bowsprit.

Starting forward, there is an opening overhead hatch and foremast and platform used for storage. The full width galley is next aft with a ventilation hatch overhead. Main cabin is next aft with settees (convertible to over/under berths) to starboard and port. Portable teak dining table, 5 opening cabinside port lights and opening overhead hatch.
The companionway ladder is further aft to starboard. The head with manual marine toilet, opening cabinside portlight, S/S sink with pressure faucet/handshower is to port at the base of the companion.
The aft cabin is fitted with two opening overhead hatches, opening cabinside port light, single berth to port, double berth to starboard and large engine box centered. The galley is located forward, just aft of the foremast. The galley shows three opening cabinside port lights, aLuke Heritage three burner stove with oven, gimballed LPG stove to starboard. The port side of the galley shows a white formica countertop, cutting board, double S/S sink, and microwave oven. Additional lockers and drawers are below the sink counter. Propane is stowed in two tanks located in two overboard ventilated lockers located to port and starboard of the foremast on deck..
