Short Description of the Cornish Crabber 22

'Black Run' is a well loved example of the Cornish Crabber 22 and has been with her current owners since 2016. She has only been used for day sailing and family trips, hence is in excellent condition throughout.
'Black Run' is kept on a mooring either in Poole or Swanage during the summer and left ashore under a cover when not in use.
The hull is vinyl coated (the original black hull, while in good order, faded in the sun and needs regular polishing), The deck and cockpit are in excellent condition with new Flexi teak cockpit seating scheduled to be fitted in June 2023. Down below she is in the best condition having rarely been used by her current owners other than for local sailing in Swanage and Poole.

Owner's Comments of the Cornish Crabber 22

The current owners are both keen sailors and love the simplicity of the Crabber . With the traditional rig and tiller it sails just like a dinghy and has given them a lot of fun. However , a late life career change means that they no longer have the time for leisurely day trips and have very reluctantly made the decision to revert to a smaller motor boat so that they can keep in Swanage and grab the odd trip round the bay with their grandchildren.
She has been looked after her properly and benefitted from a regular maintenance and replacement programme.
