Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 389 for sale, 2016 build lying UK Southampton.Ordered in November 2016, this is the owners 2 cabin version with the larger heads aft and bigger saloon, she also has a store / workshop aft of the heads with access through the heads or from the cockpit.
Owned from new by a highly experienced couple, she has not had a hard life and is found in immaculate condition ready for her new keepers to sail away.
The many options include the 'Preference' trim pack, 'Performance' and 'Navigation' packs. Electronics are by B&G, options includ a Sleipner Side Power SE60 bow thruster and a copper coated hull.

Owner's Comments of the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 389

Owners comments
It is with heavy hearts that we are putting Samphire up for sale. Sadly health conditions associated with advancing years are now making sailing too much of an effort for me.
In 2016 we went to the Southampton boat show and fell in love with the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 389. The main attractions over our previous boats was the huge amount of internal space and the solid chine to help prevent ‘rounding up’. We were not disappointed. We purchased Samphire in November 2016, but she was not commissioned and launched until March 2017.
Samphire is a lightly used boat that has not been stressed. We are not adventurous sailers, and a weak stomach prevents me from doing channel crossings. Our main sailing area has been The Solent, with the occasional trip to Poole and Weymouth or Portland. We have been to the West Country three times, with Salcombe, Fowey and Falmouth being the furthest point west on each trip. The boat has never been raced or loaned to anyone else and we do not go out sailing above F5, and that is only rarely.
She has been well maintained. The engine has been serviced annually. The keel was stripped and re coppercoated this year.
We will be very sorry to see her go and hope the next owner enjoys her as much as we have.

Brokers comments
A lovely yacht that offers a huge amount of accommodation for her owners, family and guests. The two cabin 'owners version' has a much bigger heads and more space in the saloon, also a huge locker aft containing a workbench and storage if you fancy some long distance cruising.
Found in close to 'as new' condition as you will get, I would recommend you act quickly if interested as I am sure she will not be available for long!
