Short Description of the Seaquest Prima 38
Seaquest Prima 38. A lovely example of this performance cruiser lying in Liverpool, UK.
There are few yachts in this size range that can offer the all round value of the Prima 38. She comes with a carbon rig and all the performance you could wish for racing or comfortable, fast cruising with your family and friends.
The photographs are of the boat but now quite old, we are preparing new photographs shortly.
Construction
'HI EXPECTATIONS' PRIMA 38
Hand laid GRP hull with balsa core above the waterline and additional lay up of multidirectional
e-glass below the waterline.
Keel floors and frames formed by moulded matrix bonded to the hull skin. Watertight bulkhead in bow
Hand laid GRP deck and superstructure with balsa core in flat areas and plywood and aluminium reinforcement pads under deck fittings and high load areas.
Integrally moulded non slip areas.
Cast iron fin keel with lead bulb
Spade rudder
Interior joinery in solid teak and teak faced marine ply Teak and holly cabin sole
Textured moulded headlining
Engines & Propulsion
1 X Yanmar 3GM30 3 cylinder diesel engine with ST20 Saildrive. All serviced annually, new water pump 2021, new saildrive leg seal 2022. New Yanmar Hull seals 2019.
2 Bladed Varifold propeller. (New 2014)

Max Too has given me & my crew 6 years of absolute pleasure. She has been maintained with an open cheque book approach, & it shows.
My mantle piece is full of prizes, & if it was not for an annoying heart problem we would still be racing offshore.
The sail wardrobe is positively brilliant and I can imagine a new owner not having to buy sails for some time
